Great Island, formerly the Zeigler Estate, is now owned by the town of Darien. We can explore the beautiful 60-acre property full of paved trails on foot – no vehicles, bicyles, or dogs are allowed.
There is no on-site parking, so your best bet is to park on Harbor Road and walk to the entrance. See map below.
Another option is to park at Pear Tree Point Beach and walk the roughly 1 mile to the entrance.
Final option: Some Reunion Committee members will be at Pear Tree, so if you need a ride to the entrance, we will have some sort of shuttle set-up. Meet at 1pm at Pear Tree Point Beach.

We are so sad we’ll be missing one of our most stalwart DHS Reunion committee members. Bill’s vibrancy and energy will be forever remembered.
